The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued an emergency use authorization (EUA) for AstraZeneca’s Evusheld for the pre-exposure prophylaxis (prevention) of COVID-19 in certain adults and pediatric individuals.
This pre-exposure treatment is not a substitute for a COVID-19 vaccine.
Please follow the below steps if you feel that you qualify for Evusheld.
- Obtain a NC prescription from your doctor and have it sent to our pharmacy for processing
- Once we receive the prescription, we will call you to obtain insurance information, if available, and schedule an appointment
*Please note that insurance eligibility will be checked in advance to ensure that your insurance will cover the cost. If your insurance is out of network, the cost will be $150. You can attempt to obtain reimbursement through your insurance company manually. If you are uninsured, please let us know.
